DYMO Staff Needs Volunteers!
Camp is run completely with volunteers. (We get some backup from Camp Pinewood staff.) We invite you to come join other member of the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids who enjoy ministry with high school students. At Camp, over 30 staff assist the students in understanding their faith in God. Members from throughout the diocese come together to plan and develop a program to excite the students about their faith. If you enjoy working with high school youth, you may be interested in helping with DYMO Camp! Plans for DYMO Camp 2008 are almost complete, but we are always keeping our eye open for people who are interested in making a positive difference in the lives of youth.
Some criteria for being a good staff member (but not limited to):
- Practicing Catholic in good standing
- Gifted by God and willing to share that gift
- References that will vouch for your ability to work with high school students
- Ability to make training sessions and the week of camp (see the staff application for the dates)
- You must be 21 years old and at least 3 years out of high school
- Willingness to submit to a personal background check
