The 2009 Camp Planning Committee (CPC)
James is a very sporadic young man, and he loves what he does. He is an avid drummer, and enjoys weight lifting and hanging out with his friends. He plans on going to Michigan State when he graduates.
Keven is generally seen around Eastown, downtown GR, or Rockford. He enjoys nearly all types of food and music, which is why he is excited about experiencing Chicago next year while at Loyola. He's Irish, and loves rugby.
Evan is finishing his senior year at Saranac HS, and is eager for his college experience to begin at Aquinas this fall. When bored and not working, he likes to eat Yesterdogs, drink Arnold Palmer's, run, go to concerts, play the jawharp, watch movies with friends, and sleep in excessive amounts (preferrably all at the same time).
Matthew enjoys serving the Lord by playing and singing music at St. Luke's University Parish in Allendale every Sunday. In his spare time he likes to laugh at his own jokes in front of his friends and to play euchre. He will be attending Aquinas next year and has no idea what to major in yet. :-)
McKenzie is a Junior at Grandville High school. This will be her second year at DYMO Camp and now she is on CPC. She is very excited for Camp this year and hopes everyone enjoys it!
Alicia Alicia is a senior at Grand Haven High School. She enjoys reading, watching Grey's Anatomy, and hanging out with family and friends. Next year Alicia will be living in Grand Rapids while she goes to Aquinas!
Zach is finishing up his Junior year at Zeeland East High School. (Go CHIX!) He volunteered for the CPC because he enjoyed DYMO so much that he thought it would be a good idea to give something back to such a great camp. His dad had been at DYMO as a kid, and even was on staff for a while when Zach was younger. Zach thought it would be great to follow in his footsteps.
"I can't wait to meet all of you. I hope you are enjoying the last weeks of school, and get excited for this year's DYMO Camp! I expect this year to be one of the greatest! See you all soon."
Olivia has never been to Spain, but she kinda likes the music. If you don't know who she is, maybe you should.
Wendy – This will be Wendy's third year at DYMO camp. She is enjoying being on CPC and hopes everyone has a great camp experience. Wendy enjoys bowling, knitting, crocheting, being involved in youth group and being outside not doing anything in particular. She graduated this year from St. Pat's in Portland, and will be attending Michigan State University in the fall. If you want to know more you will just have to meet her.
Staff Advisors
Annie Otto got the opportunity to experience DYMO as a camper when she was in high school. Now she's geared up for her 4th year as part of the DYMO Staff! This year, she is one of the leaders for our CPC group. The students on CPC have worked so hard to come up with ideas for this year's camp, and she is geeked to see how everything will play out! Annie's favorite TV show is The Office, her favorite book series is Harry Potter, and her favorite drink is Coca-Cola! Having fun, building relationships, and being an instrument for God to use are the reasons Annie is so excited for DYMO 2009!
Jan Wilcox is so excited to be back for her third year on DYMO staff. This is her second year working with CPC and it has been so great to see ideas start to come to life, as well as watch the teens on CPC take such an active role in getting ready for camp. She knows this year’s camp will be AMAZING! Jan shares a love for The Office with her co-coordinator and her guilty addiction is Diet Coke. Besides getting closer to God and getting to know more campers, Jan is especially pumped this year to have three of her own youth group teens attending DYMO for the first time!
